Hemlock

Classed as a Softwood, Hemlock is a very versatile timber, as well as taking to being painted very well, it also offers a stunning light reddish brown colour once french polished and has a minimal straight grain. It has a lot of the same practical uses as the Softwood Pine, being an ideal timber to use for treads to be carpeted or can also be left bare for polishing.
